Lake Haltern is one of the loveliest destinations in the western Münsterland: plenty of water, nature and calm, and easy to reach from Coesfeld. Great for a whole day: a boat, a picnic on the shore and a loop by bike.

Getting there and parking
From Coesfeld, Lake Haltern is an easy drive, plan for about 30 minutes. There is parking near the boathouse at the lake. Just enter „Bootshaus Niehues, Aalweg 11, Haltern am See" into your navigation.
