Safety first
- ●Put on life jackets for everyone, especially children and non swimmers.
- ●Only take as many people on board as allowed: our pedal boats are made for 4 or 5 people.
- ●Keep an eye on the weather and any rising wind, and head back early if it turns.
- ●Keep enough distance from swimmers, anglers and the shore.
Easy to get started
You need no experience. A pedal boat moves with your feet alone: you pedal just like on a bike, and off you go.
Before you set off, we show you everything you need in a moment. Steering is easy and you get the hang of it after a few metres. You can find more in our tip on steering a pedal boat.
Relaxed with kids on board
For children the rule is simple: life jacket on, and start with a shorter round. That keeps it stress free for everyone.
Whether and from what age children may steer on their own, we sort out briefly with you on site. Just ask us and we will find the right solution together.
